For courses with a live surgery component, only U.S licensed dentists. All Arizona licensed dentists may attend and perform live surgery with their existing license. Non-Arizona dentists must obtain a temporary Arizona dental license.
U.S licensed dentists in good standing must complete a temporary AZ dental license application.

On average it takes 14 to 21 days for the application to be approved. Please bring a copy of your temporary dental license to the training program.
We recommend that you bring a dental assistant to the program, but it is optional. Please notify Implant Education Company if you are bringing an assistant.
The didactic portion will start at 8:30am
A light breakfast and lunch are provided each day. If there are dietary restrictions, please let us know.
A full refund will be given if the course is cancelled 45 days before the first day of the training program.

Scrubs and headlamp are recommended. If you do not wear scrubs, wear what you normally wear to practice. If you do not have a headlamp, we will have demos for you to try. We also recommend that you bring a future implant case from your practice on a DICOM file to be reviewed and planned during the didactic portion of the course.
On average 8 implants, but you may place more over the two days. This depends on your oral surgery experience and other outside factors. Implant Education Company does not guarantee the number of implants placed. We believe in quality over quantity and have heard from attending dentists that they placed more implants in other courses but were more comfortable with placing them in their practice after training with Dr. Mehranfar and Dr. Erickson.

Yes, you will receive an email with a link to the google drive with material to review. For beginners, we also recommend contacting your implant representative for a lunch and learn to familiarize yourself with the surgical kit.
