What do I need to bring to the course?
Scrubs and headlamp are recommended. If you do not wear scrubs, wear what you normally wear to practice. If you do not have a headlamp, we will have demos for you to try. We also recommend that you bring a future implant case from your practice on a DICOM file to be reviewed and planned during the didactic portion of the course.
How many Implants will I place during the course?
On average 8 implants, but you may place more over the two days. This depends on your oral surgery experience and other outside factors. Implant Education Company does not guarantee the number of implants placed. We believe in quality over quantity and have heard from attending dentists that they placed more implants in other courses but were more comfortable with placing them in their practice after training with Dr. Mehranfar and Dr. Erickson.
May I request the types of cases I treat?
We will do our best to customize the cases to your experience level. If there are certain cases you would like to treat, please let us know when you register.
Is there pre-work for the course?
Yes, you will receive an email with a link to the google drive with material to review. For beginners, we also recommend contacting your implant representative for a lunch and learn to familiarize yourself with the surgical kit.
